Really, it is only novembrrrr

It was freezing cold today, and I was lucky I didn’t turn into an icicle! The roads were slippery, and the windchill made it even worst too, but don’t worry, I survived!

Lunch today was yet another whole wheat wrap stuffed with the usual - flaked tuna, romaine lettuce, green bell peppers, carrots and a dobble of honey dijon mustard. I had a bag of some crunchy carrot sticks as well.

Once I arrive home in the evening, I enjoyed a cup of tea to warm me up! A while later, I made a huge salad to enjoy. I filled the bowl with a lot of things: romaine lettuce, celery, cucumbers, carrots, sugar snap peas, topped off with shredded chicken breast, dried cranberries and roasted cashews + almonds. And finished with a drizzle of Italian dressing.

This took me a while to chow down since there was so much, and it was so enjoyable! I am loving these huge salads, especially when there are lots and lots of carrots involved. I love the added crunch to it. Plus, I have an abundance of carrots since they were on sale at the grocery store too!

Now, I’m hoping that tomorrow will be sunny skies and warm weather! I’m going to catch up on episode two of Top Chef, since I missed it yesterday, and then head off to bed. Toodles!

That salad looks like something I would eat too! Love the cashew topping! I have some cashews in my drawer, didn’t think to use them. Maybe tmw. :-)

Today was freezing for me as well. For the first time since living in this place for a number of months, I made my hubby turn on the heater. Now everything’s nice and warm!
