I definitely love the forest trails, and I still have plenty to explore. It can seem a little unsafe, but thus far, there are plenty of people that use it daily bringing about an adequate amount of traffic. But of course, minus a few odd encounters here and there. Anyways, aside from being ill for a short period of time, I hope you don’t mind my sporadic posting schedule that has seemingly ensued.
Here is just a glimpse of some of the many eats, since the camera is not always readily at hand: Yogurt along side with some juicy mango chunks, strawberries, and an orange.

Strawberries, oranges, and some refreshingly delightful watermelon.

A sprouted grain whole wheat tortilla stuffed with romaine lettuce, sliced cucumbers, red bell peppers, baby pickles, and sauteed tofu, as well as a spread of honey dijon mustard. Some carrot sticks and an orange were also enjoyed.

Juicy mango chunks, watermelon, and some green grapes.

Another sprouted grain whole wheat tortilla was loaded up with some honey dijon mustard, romaine lettuce, cucumber slices, red bell peppers, baby pickles, and a double layer of sauteed tofu. Along side with this scrumptious wrap sat some green grapes and a small handful of carrot sticks for that extra crunch.

Wraps seem to have crossed into my daily eats, as they are super quick and easy to make. Either way, that was just a quick wrap up of some of the many eats. Minus the rain, I do hope everyone has a wonderful weekend ahead of them!
Of course, fruits filled my day as I started off with a juicy mango, a few strawberries, and an orange. A small container of yogurt was also enjoyed.

Round two of the fresh fruits featured another juicy orange, along side with a sliced banana, and some more delightful strawberries. Simply delightful!

My packed lunch was the scrumptious tofu sandwich made on toasted sprouted grain and filled with a spread of roasted almond butter, romaine lettuce, cucumber slices, and sauteed tofu. A handful of carrot sticks and a banana was also enjoyed. Evidently that was not enough carrots to satisfy me, but I was reluctant to carry another tupperware container in my bag.

I dived into some seasoned potato wedges my mom had prepared, along side a wrap made up of honey dijon mustard, romaine lettuce, cucumbers, red bell peppers, some baby pickles, and sauteed tofu all wrapped up in a sprouted grain whole wheat tortilla.

Of course before calling it a day, I indulged once again, as I dived into some more fruits, featuring some fresh pineapple, another juicy orange, and some strawberries. Okay, I had some more delightful fruits shortly after, since my mom had just sliced open a fresh watermelon. I definitely could not resist a massive juicy watermelon, yum!

Evidently an overindulgence of fruits, but I try to eat with no rules and simply enjoy what I fancy. And today just happened to be a fruit-filled day. Simply sweet and delightful.
I think the random schedule of posting may continue on. And I do apologize for this. Things are a little overwhelming, and I typically love to be flourishing with positivity, but lately, it seems as though I’m just stuck in a rut. I am often always optimistic, but negative people seem to draining my positive energy at the moment. So, I often have to remind myself to maintain my positivity.
Either way, let’s get on to some delicious eats! I started off this sunny day with a delightful bowl loaded with sliced strawberries, an orange, a sliced banana, and a mango, all mixed together.

Then came some random munching, as we enjoyed some barcelona barbecue potato chips and some garlic potato chips in the late morning. Very random indeed.

Lunch featured a quick sprouted grain whole wheat tortilla filled with honey dijon mustard, romaine lettuce, cucumbers, an abundance of delightful pickles, and sauteed tofu. The usual pile of carrot sticks along with a yogurt reaching its last date were also enjoyed.

Rationally, it’s not like if I eat it after the expiry date, I’ll sink into the depths of death. But I still try to eat it before that date for some odd reason. Out of curiosity, does the date on a package make you feel obligated to eat it before it expires?
The love triangle is coming to an end, as word has it that Archie Andrews ends the extensive 65 year Betty/Veronica/Archie battle. And who does he happen to choose? Well, apparently the bubbly girl next door, Betty Copper, is not his choice. Oh, sigh. And yes, yes, I still read archie comics before going to bed. I am just that cool.
Anyways, things have been a little busy these past couple of days. It is typical that my family often looks to me to help out and save the day. And so, I’m quick to readjust my schedule to do what I can. Well, as for today I started off with two containers of yogurt, along side with juicy watermelon chunks, fresh sliced pineapple, and some strawberries.

Round two was enjoyed shortly after, as I dived into more watermelon chunks, strawberries, and some red grapes. My mom knows me so well, as she will continually load up the refrigerator with my favorite fruits! And my dad is also quick to refill my stock of tofu!

Lunch was relaxing, as I dived into a scrumptious tofu sandwich made up of roasted almond butter, sauteed tofu, cucumber slices, and romaine lettuce, all on toasted sprouted grain bread. Of course, the usual pile of carrot sticks were also devoured.

Fruits were later enjoyed once again, as I sat down to more watermelon chunks, fresh pineapple, and some sweet strawberries. As well, I had some orange vanilla almonds.

As the day progressed, I dived into a scrumptious bowl of triple chocolate ice cream topped off with some chopped almonds for some extra crunch. Okay, okay, of course I had two bowls!

Plane tickets are set, as my dad and sister just ordered their tickets for Hong Kong and Vietnam. My mom is not keen accompanying them on the trip, since she is more excited for her and my dad’s plans to hit up Las Vegas for their 25th wedding anniversary next year. All in all, my dad is mainly heading over to Asia this summer just to visit his siblings. And even though my dad offered to pay for the entire trip if I were to go along, I can’t seem to come to terms with that since I have always shelled out for my own adventures. Plus, traveling to me is roaming and uncovering new sights. Hong Kong and Vietnam are already crossed off my list. They are still making me ponder, oh well.
Anyways, started off with the simple bowl of fresh fruits loaded with a sliced gala apple, deliciously fresh pineapple and some juicy watermelon chunks.

And round two came shortly after, as I dived into more delicious watermelon chunks, along with a scrumptious orange and some essential crunchy carrot sticks.

Well, I better be off. I have to head downtown, and I am going to try to resort to the public bus transit service rather than resorting to my car, toodles!
Worms are actually not as scary as I thought. I even picked them up with my fingers while I jump-started my very first garden today. I thought I would find it a little repulsive to get my hands dirty, but it was actually so much fun. Plus, the concept of feeling the soil that gives growth to a garden is quite intriguing. Of course, I ended up tackling some weeds in our yard while I was at it.
Anyways, backtracking to my eats, in the early afternoon I enjoyed some more juicy watermelon chunks, along with some fresh pineapple, and a sliced gala apple.

Prior to tending to the yard work, I enjoyed an early random dinner. On my plate sat a bed of romaine lettuce mixed with quinoa, broccoli, black beans, sliced cucumbers, and diced tomatoes. And topping it off were chia seeds and chopped walnuts. As odd as it was, it was such a refreshing meal. Oh, and two small containers of yogurt were also enjoyed.

And to finish the evening off, I could not resist but to indulged in another delightful round of fresh fruits. I loaded my massive bowl with an abundance of juicy watermelon chunks, along with an orange, and the essential crunchy carrot sticks.

Without a doubt, I started off with a refreshing bowl loaded with juicy watermelon chunks, fresh pineapple, mangoes, and for some extra crunch, a handful of carrot sticks.

Relaxing at the nearby park in our neighbourhood, for lunch I dived into my packed lunch, which featured a sprouted grain whole wheat tortilla stuffed with romaine lettuce, cucumbers, mashed sauteed tofu, and a delicious spread of roasted almond butter. Of course, the wrap sat on top a massive bed of carrot sticks. Simply delightful.

Picnic lunches are simply wonderful. And I find it highly enjoyable preparing meals for others rather than resorting to eating out. Then again, while growing up, regardless of my parents’ busy schedule, home cooking was always available. Silly thing is, late last night when my brother was thinking of hitting up a fast-food joint, my mom was quick to instead whip up something in the kitchen for him. And I would have done the same, if I wasn’t so sleepy!
Started off with the usual massive bowl loaded with a juicy orange, a sliced gala apple, crunchy carrot sticks, and a couple of small containers of yogurt.

Recently I decided to start a new sketchbook and have been busy filling the blank pages. Of course, I happen to love drawing fruits. And continuing on, round two featured more carrot sticks, a peeled grapefruit, and some strawberries.

I then sat down to another delightful wrap made up of a sprouted whole wheat tortilla with honey dijon mustard and stuffed with romaine lettuce, cucumbers, pickles, and sauteed tofu. No doubt, a massive lot of carrot sticks were devoured.

And with the sunny skies, we relaxed outside with the cool breeze, as I enjoyed some more fresh fruits featuring a sliced gala apple, scrumptious mango chunks, and more carrot sticks.

Carrot sticks seem to be quite prevalent in my everyday eats, and I think it is that crunch factor involved. Anyways, now I’m off to enjoy the rest of the wonderful day, toodles!

Then came some a deliciously massive mango along with some strawberries later in the day.

Upon coming home in the late afternoon to drop some things off, I quickly devoured a sliced gala apple, another round of some carrot sticks, and a juicy orange.

And I sat down to a quick salad made up of field greens with romaine lettuce, and sliced cucumbers, topped with a drizzle of italian dressing. Yet again, another scrumptious tofu sandwich was stacked up to be delicious. On toasted sprouted grain bread sat a tasty spread of roasted almond butter, romaine lettuce, cucumbers, and of course, sauteed tofu.

Again, things have and still are a little busy at the moment. I hope to disengage from the sporadic posting schedule sometime soon. Till then, I hope everyone is enjoying the wonderful summer weather. We are finally seeing the green grass and not layers of snow!
I would like to think that flourishing yourself with rich vitamins and minerals definitely has its benefits. Because after my visit to the optometrist, I walked out with my old eye correction prescription, which means it has not increased as it usually has in the past years. I think I am going to get a new pair of spectacles rather than always resorting to contact lenses. I like that word, spectacles. Spectacles. Spectacles. I have no nose though. I mean, I have a flat nose bridge.
Anyways, I started off the sunny day with my favorite fresh fruits. I devoured a delightful bowl loaded with juicy mango chunks, oranges, and a large sliced banana.

And lunch featured my favorite tofu sandwich, made up of toasted sprouted grain bread, roasted almond butter, romaine lettuce, cucumber slices, and tofu. It stacked up to be delicious, as always. And of course, the usual lot of crunchy carrot sticks were also enjoyed.
